MOA Signing between SPDA and DBP

MANILA, PHILIPPINES (24 March 2026) – A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) has been signed between the Southern Philippines Development Authority (SPDA)  represented by Administrator & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdulghani ‘Gerry’ Ajul Salapuddin and Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) President & Chief Executive Officer Michael O. De Jesus for the DBP-SPDA Forest Development Project, a 100-hectare upland reforestation project within the land area of SPDA at Barangay Sumogot, Municipality of Amai Manabilang, Lanao del Sur.

This project has the DBP Forest Program grant of Php 5.4 million and involves the planting of at least 31,960 native trees aimed at providing livelihood opportunities and generate income for at least 100 residents in the locality.

Witnessing this event are Ms. Soraya Adiong, Head of the Development  & Resiliency Sector of DBP and Atty. Datu Reza C. Sinsuat, Head of SPDA Manila Liaison Office.
